There are two possible routes, and using the wrong one is why people cancel Headspace and still get charged. Check which applies to you first.

This is the step people skip. Headspace can be billed either by Apple (if you subscribed inside an iPhone or iPad app) or by Headspace directly (if you signed up on their website). Only the biller can cancel it.
To check: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. If Headspace appears there, Apple bills you — use route A. If it does not, use route B.
Go straight to the Headspace cancellation page →
Worth knowing: Most people subscribe to Headspace inside the iPhone app, which means Apple bills it and the website will not show a cancel option. Check iPhone Settings first.
Premium access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Your account and progress are kept on the free tier.
Always confirm it worked. Look for a cancellation email, and re-open the billing page to check the status reads cancelled or "ends on [date]". Then set a calendar reminder for the day after the period ends and check your card statement. A surprising number of cancellations do not take on the first attempt.
Most services have a cheaper tier that people never look at, and several offer a pause instead of a cancellation. If you use Headspace occasionally rather than never, a lower plan or a temporary pause usually beats cancelling and resubscribing at a higher price later.
Recurra reminds you before Headspace renews, so you decide in time instead of finding out on your statement. It keeps every other subscription in one place too. No bank login, no account.
